More Simple Exercises How to Get Rid of Love Handles
Belly fat or what we normally call love handles isn't that really hard to get rid of if you know how and what are the effective ways to lose love handles in as short time as possible. To give a hand for those people who are having the same problem and questions on their mind - how to get rid of love handles fast, let me share with you some of the simple exercises for love handles I've performed that really worked for me. Give them a try and see if they're going to work for you too.
The Full Sit Up First thing you have to do is start a position by lying back on the floor or bench with knees bent and hands behind head. Keep elbows back and out of sight. Your head should be in a neutral position with a space between chin and the chest.
Then leading with the chin and chest towards the ceiling, contract the abdominal and raise shoulders off floor or bench until you are seated in an upright position. Return to start position and remember to keep head and back in a neutral position. Hyperextension or flexion of either may cause injury so be careful.
The Double Crunch
Start by lying back on the floor or bench with knees bent and hands behind the head. Keep your elbows back and out of sight. The head should be in a neutral position with a space between chest and the chin. Then start positioning your hands behind head and knees bent at 90 degrees. Leading with the chin and chest towards the ceiling,, contract the abdominals and raise shoulders off floor or bench.
During the crunch, also bring knees towards the chest. Return to starting position and remember to keep head and back in a neutral position because hyperextension or flexion of either may cause injury.
The Janda Sit Up The performance of this exercise is done by sitting in a normal sit up position feet flat on ground but vigorously tightening hamstrings and glutes. This will cause the hip flexors to be inactivated in a process called reciprocal inhibition which basically means that opposite muscles to the contracted ones will relax. As you begin the exercise, fill your lungs with air and in a slow three to five second count ascent, slowly exhale. Afterwards, return to the starting position and repeat.
